The Best Outdoor Running Tracks in Western Australia

When looking for a great place to run, there are many things to keep in mind. Track distance, how an incline affects difficulty, and which terrains are preferable to you are all things to consider before you set off on your run.

For first time runners, we recommend softer terrains, such as grass. For those of you who are more experienced runners, we recommend longer distances, steeper inclines, incorporating stairs and tackling tougher terrains.

Wherever in your running journey, you must always be equipped with the best running accessories.  Remember to have water on you at all times, staying hydrated is the key to having a good running experience. Your running shoes are also super important – make sure they are high quality and have good support. Wear sunscreen when you’re running during the day and make sure you have comfortable, breathable activewear which won’t restrict your movement. The difference between being well prepared and not having the right gear can equate to strains or injuries.

Here are a few stunning running spots around Perth to get you inspired.
